Perfect timing.  I was running low on GHS VB lights, so now I have a dozen sets on order, which should get me through 2023.

I play on and off 4-5 hrs most every day. I usually change strings about every 4 months or so. Having 2 acoustics, 5 sets will last me a good year for both. I don't wanna keep strings on hand over a year at most

I always order from Just Strings or Strings By Mail and I don't think they keep the brand I use in stock for very long periods

I change 3-4 months for each guitar (on average; some more frequently than others).  I have no issues with keeping strings for a while, as I keep them in an air-tight container.  Also, the GHS and DR strings are both individually sealed, so they're always fresh.  I usually buy during the CM sales event, but last year, there was a 50% off for DR strings, so I stocked up on them.

I'm playing my first set of CM's on my E40D and really like them on that guitar.

Got my CM's in a few days ago. Put a set on my parlor, probably got at least 20 hrs playing on them, tension  is fine, ain't dead yet but I'm not too ticky, my BD's play and sound fine also and cheap.

I ordered my CM custom gauge sets on 5/11/23. It's been around 3 or so years since I ordered any CM's and first custom gauge order. I put a set on my Parlor, I keep it out day and night and it gets played almost constantly. The strings have a very nice tone, tension is fine altho I don't worry bout tension much at all since a few half-step bends on E&B strings are all I do. I am interested in their longevity so that's to be seen but so far I'm well pleased.
