Hi all,

I'm a proud new owner of a T59v as of this weekend. I wanted to replace the strings, and I ran into trouble with the tuner for the low E string. Trying to wind the string, the tuner was occasionally really tight and would pop and unwind a bit. I took the string out and removed the tuner from the headstock to test it completely by itself and found the same issue: the resistance wasn't smooth and would pop/snap every few rotations. I'm assuming it's a random isolated issue, and the tuner is just bad--not sure how or if I broke it myself. I ordered a new set of SD90 Relics and am hoping that I should be able to just replace the one and be all set. Anxiously waiting for them to show up at the end of the week, so I thought I'd double check here to see if you all think my logic tracks or if I should just take the guitar back to the shop for a hopefully complementary repair.

I was down at a local guitar store today and they had about four of these guitars in stock. All mahogany. I loved them, well I loved at least two of them. Like them more than the 000-18. Anyway, was just thinking how nice it would be if Eastman made some all hog guitars.

Can anyone tell me where to find the Allen wrench for Eastman E20 OOSS?

Haven't seen it in person but I guy is selling his E6D TC with an installed K&K Trinity Pro system for 750.00 USD. Pictures look great and it's local so I can play it and check it over. He said it's like new. Seems like a good price especially since the K&K is about 350.00 new and not installed.

Hi, I have a wonderful E10ooss/v, which came with a high action from the factory.

So I sanded the saddle and now it is leaning forward a bit with the strings on, cause it’s a bit loose.

Is it an issue ? Do I have to buy another saddle ?

Hello all and thanks for letting me join! I just purchased my first Eastman, brand new E20D and would like to upgrade from the Pings it came with. I have searched the net and cannot find where anything good just drops in without any modifications. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm 67 and from Sweden

I bought a MD515 Classic Mandolin, a little more than a year ago.
I'm' very happy with it.
So now I want to try an Eastman guitar, I'm thinking about an E10OM.
I love them OM models, no D for me...
I have an Taylor 712 from -94, my real LOVE
I need one more OK acoustic guitar, I love to play in different tunings
ATM I think maybe I have enough of electric guitars...

So an E10OM or E8OM or E6OM...

Hi all,

Have any of you jumped on a recent E10ss /v , say since 2021? Is it a varnish finish, does it just look as such but is really a gloss urethane?

One additional more important question is… do you like yours!

I am thinking of grabbing a new one. Again.

Anyone had experience returning guitar to eastman and how long it takes, my bridge developed cracking in-between the pins, sent it back to the dealer and they are sending it to eastman and won't have updates on what's happening just whenever they recieve guitar back from them.
