Good luck with your search.  I was on a similar quest for several months and finally found one about a month ago.  Both new and used E20P's seemed very scarce while I was actively looking.

I will say, they are worth the effort to find one, mine exceeds all my expectation.

Great guitar, strong projection / rich tone  /  the 1 13/16" nut width, I couldn't make that work for me. There was one in our local shop for a while, love playing it, good looker too.

On your E20 P what strings do you favour? I have just acquired a new E20 P, but the coated ones will be removed later...

Sorry but I can't help with an answer yet.  I'm still playing with the original strings.  I'm assuming the strings were fairly fresh when I bought it, it had only been at the dealer for 3 days when I brought it home.  I've only had the guitar for a month and I prefer the sound of strings that have been played for a while.

I'm very happy with the way it currently plays and sounds, so I've yet to do any experimentation.

Go luck with yours, let us know what you prefer on yours once you figure it out.

Short answer - Noooo! I love my 2019 E20-P. I was frankly amazed when it arrived (online purchase) Heavy, but beautiful tone woods and a sound that belies its size.

I use standard D'addario Ej16s or occasionally Martin MA540. So good that a year later I bought the 00 version.

It still catches me by surprise every time I pick up my E20-P regarding how heavy it is.  Physically it may be my smallest guitar, and I think it may weigh the most.

I'm not sure what the source of the weight is.

It's probably a combination of a heavy Rosewood body and a thick Mahogany neck.
(I know, what else is there, Mr. Obvious?) Smile

But my Rosewood dreads are heavier than my Mahogany ones.

Thanks for that confirmation.  I wondered if rosewood was that much heavier than mahogany,  my E20P is my only rosewood guitar so I wasn't sure if that was generally the case.

There are many types of 'mahogany', and 'Rosewood' too - some 'true' others unrelated species which possess similar characteristics. The link below is a useful guide but is not exhaustive :-
