(been out of the loop for a while...
yeah mike, i'm still liking everything that drew me to it in the first place, especially the lightness, responsiveness, and woody, fundamental tone. (it's hard to tell whether the tone has matured, whether the top has opened up, but it sounds pretty rich -- and different string types do bring out different characters. Currently D'addario nickel bronze are helping out as I work at some ragtime, old-timey and swing Jazz.
Yup, the series 11 still is getting lots of lap time, even with this newbie in town (see below), another RK, this time the RO-328 i mentioned earlier in this thread, addi and rosewood, -- a demo deal too sweet to pass up.
