I have 3 Eastman guitars at the moment and im looking to purchase the PCH 2 GACE NAT but have just viewed one on the web that is down as rosewood but never seen anything like it, i know its not Koa so does anyone have any ideas ?

Are you sure it's not a PCH 3? I think they did a limited run of those with Cocobolo and (from my non-professional eye) that's what it looks like to me.
Either way though, the back and sides are a laminate.

It is deffo a Pch 2 and the guy in the shop has checked the documentation which says rosewood laminate.

How about a photo of the model number inside? It does look like Cocobolo.
But EIR has many different looks.
And technically Cocobolo is a type of “rosewood” as it’s from the Dalbergua family.
Nice guitar for sure!
Dies the inside have similar grain? I know it’s laminated but just wondering what it looks like inside.
