Even though the factory strings still sounded good, I decided to throw on a set of Martin a retro Laurence Jubers I had laying around. I have a love/hate relationship with those strings, but I always give them a try when I get a new guitar. I’m glad I did this time. Really seem to work with this one. Played a lot over the weekend, and they broke in quickly. The mediums didn’t choke the tone like they sometimes can on a smaller box, and the fundamentals are loud and clear.
Dang I’m glad I picked up this little gem!

Just picked up a Gator 000 case for my E1OM. I just don’t trust gig bags with a big dog and three kids! I swear this case is identical to the 000 case Eastman uses. Fits like a glove!

I finally have a decent mic and recorded a bit of a demo of what my E1OM sounds like. Some strumming, flatpicking and fingerstyle on here. Gives a good idea of what it sounds like. No compression or effects, recorded directly into Garageband.
