Good morning,
This is a question that interests me as well.
I just bought myself the T64v red.... The model is from 2022 so they are Lollar Custom.
I also have an Epiphone Casino Worn MIC that I upgraded with Antiquity SD. It sounds very good too, but as the violin is not of the same quality, it is difficult to get an idea and know which of the two I prefer. I like both. What I do know is that the Lollar magnets are Alnico V, while the SD ones are Alnico II. The Lollar seem to have a higher output level than the SD, in practice they go faster in crunch and saturation depending on the setting of the amp. While the SD are softer with a lower output level.
I would like to try the T64v with the SD Antiquity to determine which ones I prefer. No doubt one day I will, I read on forums that the SD Antiquity transcribes the harmonics better, with more complexity. My hypothesis is that the Lollar are good for rock and the SD are perfect for bright jazzy. That said I love the Lollar but especially the T64 which has such a great handle compared to my Casino.
I specify so that there is no ambiguity that I am a jazz cat...
