Just scrolled through the Guitar Center used gear, and they have a used E40D in "excellent" condition for $1369, which is an insanely good price for this model.  If you've thought about getting a "40," this might be a good opportunity, since GC offers to transfer and a very healthy return policy.

That 40 is a beauty. Shame that im in EU and it is in US, and they do not ship to my country.

While on my quest, i've found an interesting used AC320 at Max Guitars n NL for ~500eur. Considering the fact that an E6D is worth about 1000-1100 euro for new one.
The thing looks used, so probably some questions and additional photos are in order to ask from the shop.
