For Sale - No Affiliation - Pura Vida - 07-13-2019

Here's a thread, where we can post a link to a third party listing, if it might be of interest to the forum.  These are not personal listings, but rather ones we might find online, so no personal affiliation with the seller.

I'll kick things off.  Stephen mentioned that he would like to find an E20D.  Of course, buying one new is easy through one of our trusted online dealers or finding one in a local shop, but there aren't very many used ones for sale.  I came across this listing, posted one week ago... looks clean, good price, ships from Portland, ME:

You enabler, you!  Smile

I have to sell a few other guitars before I can start looking seriously for that E20D!  But I did glance at that link, and strangely, even though the seller says it's an E20D and the photos appear to be an E20D, the specs he lists are those of an E10D (mahogany back and sides). If someone's interested in that guitar (and that's a great price, BTW), I'd double-check to make sure it's actually an E20D.

The seller writes, "Solid Adirondack Spruce top, solid Rosewood back and sides (NOT mahogany as stated in Reverb's breakdown below)." Which is kind of -- odd. I mean, there is no "Reverb breakdown" as it's the seller's responsibility to post specs. Based on the picture, it's rosewood.

Just a hunch... I think he copied an E10D listing, but then changed the header to E20D.  Reverb shows three "Reviews for Eastman E10D Natural 2013," which is probably what he duplicated to create his listing.  Anyway, it's def Rosewood.

Right.

Pretty good price. Especially if you could get 'em to throw in shipping.

Exactly.  MAP is $1300 on a new one, so upper $700s used isn't too bad.

No affiliation bump.  An AGF member is downsizing and listed his/her E20OM for sale:  $825 inc. FedEx shipping.  The listing says it's like new and replaced with Schaller tuners.

No affiliation.  E6OM in SoCal for $750 w/ K&K or $650 w/o K&K.

No affiliation.  But this E10OM-TC has taken a nice price drop.  If I could have gotten it for this price a couple weeks ago, I'd probably own it, right now.  Smile

I think I forced his hand by listing my E10D-TC at that price. He messaged me about it, lol. Now I just need to sell mine. Haven’t had anything other than a lowball $700 offer on reverb.
