Hey Mac,

Is the SB59 heavy like a Les Paul?

Or...how much does it weigh?
#3
It is. Photos should be above. It weighs a little less than 8lbs.

Don't know about this particular one, but all the ones I played were less weight wise than Standard Gibson's. My SB/59-V is 8.1 pounds, and felt weight wise similar to the several other ones I played up in Eugene. The least weighty Gibson LP I owned was 9.25 lbs, the most was 11.75 lbs! I'm too old for those boat anchors anymore & my Eastman has far great resonance & sustain (and tone, playabilty, better pickups, better looks, better crafted and just more fun) than any of the Gibbies. These are phenomenal guitars for a Les Paul lover. My 2 cents.

That’s right Tamerlane. I don’t have a scale to measure but it’s lighter than my old Les Paul... sounds better too. I’m dropping the price to $1100!

I have one and don't need/can't afford two at the moment, but if you have this on Reverb, I'd expect it to move!
Good luck with your sale.

Just curious... why are you selling it?

Hey Mac--- having sold  lot of things on Reverb (and much more on Ebay formerly, but not anymore) I'd make sure to put the "reason I'm selling is to upgrade the same model"  on there. While I'm not buying anything at present, if I were, that's the type of thing that would spark my interest. FWIW and it should definitely sell soon at that price.
