What's best to clean the finish and fretboard ?

if you have a 'v' model, your finish is 'varnish' rather than either Nitro or Poly, so best to check with Eastman or perhaps someone else here can inform. If either Nitro or Poly, I'd recommend either Gibson Pump Polish or PRS Guitar Polish as I've had success with both on various forms of poly and nitro guitars. That said, there are a wide array of products out there that are likely just as good/safe.

I recently heard from an Eastman dealer that Eastman went from Nitro to Poly on many models about one year ago, so the year of your guitar may be important in determining which finish you have.

I think it's a good idea to check with Eastman on the finish. If you give them the serial and model, they should be able to tell you.
Best, Steve
