What tuners will fit these guitars with no modification? The previous owner of mine put hideous black Gotoh closed back tuners on it and I would like to return to open back tuners that are an upgrade from the original Ping. Less than $100, preferred.

Check out Gotoh. They are under $100 BUT I wonder if the previous owner had to do any modifications to make the closed back tuners fit.

I keep showing them. Less than $50.
DerJung brand. eBay or Aliexpress.
Fit my E40D straight drop in.
I have used them on other guitars also.
Best brand of tuners I have ever used.
Also if the previous owner drilled the headstock to 10mm holes,the usual size for sealed tuners, there are conversion bushings to go back to a smaller size.
I had to get some for a Yairi guitar I put the same open back DerJung tuners on. They were less than $10.
