I'm looking for a strat style guitar, 3 single coil or 2 single and a humbucker. I don't believe Eastman make this style, correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway, I have £1000 max budget, what's the best guitar I can get for under that, I play mostly light rock, punk rock, grunge ect

Why not look at a Player series Fender strat? It should fit your budget, and it is reputed to be a pretty good guitar (although I haven’t played one).

Wow! Strat’s have been around basically since the beginning of the solid body electric guitar. They were Leo’s second creation. There are so many choices. Your best bet is heading to your closest big guitar store and spending a few hours playing a number of different Strat’s.
There are so many different pickups, necks profiles, nut widths, fingerboard radius’ and wiring configurations to pick from. That is just from Fender. Then there are so many Strat style guitar manufacturers......
