Used Sadowsky Bridge wanted
#1
Hello,
not having good results intonating my eastman archtop? Was told about Sadowsky compensated bridges but Roger said he no longer sells them.  Anyone have one to sell  (for wound G  using Thomastiks)?

The build quality on the guitar is so good that Im a little surprised the bridges dont really tune up? Any advice?

Thank you,

Here's two I've used , I prefer the all wood for a hollow archtop.
Are you having a problem with the wound G only ? I have filled my own bridge's . If you first intonate the low and high E you now have the bridge at the right angle. Now let's just take the g string as a example. Match the harmonic note at the 12th fret to the freted note on the 12th . Say it's flat the saddle area where the string rest needs to move closer to the nut . Transversely if it's sharp that area has to be moved further away from the nut. You can use a small file , be careful not to take to much wood or lower the string height .
I'm not saying you don't know this already , just offering information for people that don't .
