Well this is interesting - Guitar Hotline is showing an E20SS-TC as well as E20 00SS-TC and an E10SS-TC. I don't remember Eastman ever offering TC models with SB. A quick search also shows them in stock at Sound Pure, Muddy River and Penny Lane Music.

Yes, looks very good Tom. To me, for reasons I cannot explain, sunburst is the perfect finish for a slope dread. And red for es335 style semi acoustic.

Tom, the Acoustic Shoppe also has an E20ss-TC in stock. According to John Chapman, moving forward, all the “E” series, 6, 8, 10 and 20’s, will have TC tops as the standard.
Also, I’ve purchased a couple guitars from Mark at Guitar Hotline. He’s a great guy to deal with. Big Eastman and Martin dealer.

Don - It may well be cheaper, or at least no more expensive, to use greenish Spruce put through the thermocuring process than to use traditionally seasoned wood!

But to respond to your point Tom, which I didn't do initially, yes I always wondered why TC guitars never included sunbursts amongst their ranks. The reason for the change must be because the use of TC spruce is becoming standard.

Mark is the best guitar dealer I've ever interacted with by far. Super nice guy, willing to deal, will let you come into the shop and demo. Polar opposite of a place like Eddie's Guitars.
