I'd never heard an Eastman until I got my old Uptown 810-CE a couple of months ago and was surprised at what a rocker it is. I hoped for and got a great Jazz sound (orig pup. and a 40 wt solid state Fender Rumble bass amp). I cranked the Deluxe, and boy the 810 can rock. I plan on giving it flats soon, and if I didn't have a few guitars that cover the balls out stuff, I'd leave the rounds on and let er rip.

Please post some pics?
Eastman's are great , someone on here said they're not making left handed guitars right now. Hopefully that's not they stopped making them just not making them right now.

Thank you for pics !!! Love the guitar .
Us left handed players don't get to Walk into a music store and have any choice's to speak of so just seeing a pic gives me something to feel excited about .
Thankfully Eastman has some models that are just plain cool like yours.

Thanks. I am lucky that I've been able to get great instruments from online. I've had a few dogs, not too bad considering I've been buying instruments online almost as soon as guitar shops hit the www.
And I got lucky with this 810ce. It fits my right hand beautifully. It, like my Rickenbacker, immediately felt good. Just did not expect it to rock so well.

I heard a guy playing jazz on an Epi SG through a Blues Cube. This will get me in trouble, but it sounded as good as any jazz set up I've heard.

Sorry i sent you my settings and it was meant for a different post .
But isn't it something how versatile some guitars are. And transistor apps have come such a long way I can't say there not as good anymore.

My guitar amps are all tube, and I have an Ampeg tube head for my bass.
But I also own two Fender Rumble bass amps. They are fantastic, and I get compliments from other musicians when I play gigs. They're excellent amps. Solid state is not what it was when I bought my first stack in the 70s. I had a Peavy Mach or Mark IV in 81, and it was a solid state failure. I hated that amp. These Rumbles are so much further advanced.
