I own the 486 as well as an ES 345 with Duncan A2 Antiquities. I don't like potted pickups and after playing the stock 486 ended up pulling those Duncan's for a set of Manlius A3 '59 LT pups. Now the guitar sweetly sings. I don't remember whether it's the T59 or 64 which has the Antiquities but unless you want the Sunburst color as I did, I'd go for that and save yourself the upgrade cost.
