Stock Pup on my 2005 Uptown 810ce

What a nice acoustic sound, but the pickup is harsh. I've tried to tame it with some eq, but the midrange is so prominent that it almost clanks.  

I've read some stuff on these pages, but I want to get opinions from potentially new members as well.

What floating, side mounted pup would you recommend? I'd like something really smooth and warm.

I read your post and thought wish lollar made the Charlie Christian in that pickup configuration. It's such a clear and still warm pickup .
I think lollar may still be able to save the day .
I've not tried this but called lollar and they said it's reminiscent of the CC though a little clearer .

I chose a Kent Armstrong USA 12 pole pickup. Here’s hoping a YouTube vid will help me install it. Update to come.
