Eastman fan searching for older AC808 or AC812, most interested in four digit serial number models.

You may know that Eastman's AC708 and AC712 have similar specs. The 800 series was more expensive and some will say the 800 series may have had superior woods. The 800 series has an abalone rosette and the 700 series has a wood rosette. I had an AC812 that was a "stunning" guitar. I sold it after I bought an AC822. The 800 series may be a difficult guitar to find, and the price will probably vary from $700 to $1400. I just sold my AC822 a couple of weeks ago on Reverb for $1240, it was near mint condition.

SoundPure, an active Eastman dealer in N.C. advertises they can order an AC812 and has a new Eastman AC808 in stock, $1250.
