Amongst other things Otto is an artist in three dimensions - a sculptor. I am an acoustic man through and through but would love a few minutes on an ER4. Richard of Richards Guitars in the UK does a good youtube featuring the ER4 - he is mighty impressed with it and it's clearly not just sales spiel.

Great interview! Thank you for posting the link. Seems like a very down-to-earth human being. What a great arrangement for Eastman and for Otto D'Ambrosio.

Otto reminds me of some of the great luthiers like the late Billl Collings, and some of the best working today like Dana Bourgeois and Richard Hoover. They all just simply have wood in their blood and a burning passion to build the best guitars available today.
El Rey 4 is like no other in the marketplace in my experience. amen
