I can't imagine why I would want to spend $2,500 USD for a guitar from someone until today I had never heard of and is overseas. If this sounds too good....maybe EGF management should put this in perspective for this forum. Now i could be all wrong about this, but I'm sure I could find a ziricote wood guitar here in the US.

For those you aren't exactly sure what a C1 Martin is, it was an arch top acoustic guitar with a spruce top and mahogany back & sides and was manufactured from 1931 to 1942. Early models had a round sound hole and the F hole models started in 1932 which became the standard appointment until they were discontinued in 1942.

Round hole and F hole production totals were over 1,200 made with the early round hole models more valuable. Gibson arch tops made during this period are considered to be a much better arch top.

Now if you can come up with a Ziricote back & sides C1 now that would be something.
