Eastman Solid Body Guitars 2021

I suspect the main constraint on Eastman upping the number of boxes produced will be luthier skills, even if the majority of their workforce each specialises on only one element of the guitars' construction and are not fully fledged luthiers. I would say solid body production is less skill-set intensive. And even if a relatively small number were produced it would likely serve to reinforce brand loyalty and maybe draw in new aficionados. Plus, new models will always garner attention to the brand in the guitar media.

I'm hoping that the sb56 v/amb starts showing up in the US... I'm not a fan of goldtops and I could use a P90 LP type to add to my collection.  Anyone know if/when they should start arriving?

There's one at Peach guitars in the UK - reduced by £200 at the moment. Don't know if they ship to 
the US, but might be worth dropping them an e-mail.

The problems with US guitarists buying British are :-

1. UK prices are about 15% - 20% more expensive like for like
2. US import taxes/tarrifs
3. Shipping costs
4. Risk of damage by exposure to high/low humidity, and/or rough handling.
5. Insurance cost - and even then a possible battle to secure appropriate compensation.

Thanks for the info, but I can wait, as long as they're eventually coming over here to the US... Not sure why they haven't shown up yet though.
