Cort Masterpiece Modern Black Acoustic Guitar
#1
Came across this today: a review of the Cort Masterpiece Modern Black Acoustic Guitar. The reviewer is too enthusiastic and over-the-top for my taste, but this is an interesting guitar, at least from what I can tell from the video. In some ways, it reminds me of my Eastman AC522CE-GB. There's no soundhole on the guitar's top, but two soundholes in the upper side. From what I understand, this guitar is not available in the States, where Corts are nearly impossible to find, but is being sold in Europe and other markets.

I have no idea on the cost. So maybe Alan or someone else could tell us more.

I reckon this Cort would cost about $1000 in the US. As a rule of thumb (based on observations over a number of years rather than a complex calculation) guitars going for about $1000 in the US go for about £1000 in the UK. Full spec is here:-

And as Steve said, it's an interesting guitar. I see it as an audacious and attractive design, and potentially good value for money.
