Hey everyone,
I have a 2020 Eastman E6OM for sale. It's a great guitar, but I just haven't played it much since I bought my E8D. I am looking to buy an E6D-TC so this will help me fund that beauty.
Listing is for $700 shipped OBO. If interested, send me a DM.
This Eastman was purchased brand new in April 2020 from Ted at LA Guitar Sales. It's a beautiful guitar, and is in mint condition. It still includes the original certificate of authenticity. It's been properly humidified with a Music Nomad humidifier, and is always in its case unless I'm playing it.
Solid spruce top, with solid mahogany back and sides. Ebony bridge and fingerboard. 1 3/4" nut, and 24.9" scale. I had a luthier lower the action, but that's the only modification.
The guitar sounds wonderful, and is super playable. This is a fantastic fingerstyle guitar, but is more than adequate as a strumming and flat-picking guitar.
Since it's mahogany back and sides, the tone is very direct, fundamental, and has a ton of clarity. A very punchy guitar, and the bass is good but not super deep since it's an OM. It's a very sweet sounding guitar.
Cheers,
Jordan

That's some fine-looking mahogany on that guitar, Jordan.
Best, Steve

Thank you. Yeah, I feel like I may regret selling this one.

Seriously, the back of that guitar is stunning. I've been chasing an Eastman SS with mahogany b/s like that one with little luck. If I was looking for an OM, I'd definitely be sending a PM your way. Good luck.

Thank you. It is stunning, and sometimes I will just sit and stare at the back. Eastman has such beautiful woods, especially hog. I feel most other brands have bland looking hog and is usually much darker.
I found a great AC322CE with amazing looking b/s. I know it's not a SS, but here it is. It's a local shop and I'm going to go play it after work today to see how it sounds. I can report back. They did have it listed for $794 yesterday which is a super low price for this model. But, now they have it priced at $935 again. Super awesome local music store. They just became an Eastman dealer and I'm stoked to check out their future inventory.

Jordan and I began exchanging messages, when he got this guitar back in April b/c I was going to buy this exact guitar, driven by the stunning Mahogany on it. But I decided on my E6D, and he ended up getting this E6OM at the same time. Good luck with the sale!

Thank you. Have you ever been super on the fence about selling a guitar, and even when you sell it, deep down you know you'll regret it? Lol

Nice. I'd be interested in hearing how it sounds. Is that sapele or mahogany? Post says Sapele, but reverb details say mahogany. Either way it looks fabulous as well.

It's definitely mahogany. Not sure why the title says Sapele. I've noticed a couple of other AC322CE listings like that too.
Yeah. I'm going to swing by after work to play it and I'll let you know what I think.

I've been on the fence on deciding whether to keep a guitar or list it. And occasionally, I've listed a guitar and been in no rush to see it sell. But if I list it, and it sells, I never look back. There was a reason I chose to make that decision, and you can't take it back, so you move forward.
I've learned to become more patient about selling, esp. with Adi top guitars, which take me at least a year to figure out, as they open up. My E20OM-SB took two years to open up, and I nearly placed it for sale a dozen times.
