Quite a hike from the twin cities, but great store. Always a nice inventory, and the staff is nice. The big downside is that they do not allow returns. A few years ago, I purchased a D-18 and realized quickly it was not my cup of tea (it sounded way brighter at home than at the store). They only offered to take it back as a trade-in for much much lower than I had bought it just 10 days prior. I ended up selling it directly, but still took a pretty big hit on it. RE: Looks like Dave's has a bunch of new/used Eastmans - Meathead - 01-22-2024 There are definite good deals to be had from Dave's... however, agree with Greg, there is a risk of not liking the guitar (or having an issue). Although, I suppose that is true for a majority of used sales. I purchased a PRS SE from Dave's that developed a pickup problem just outside of the return window, which was a bummer. I'd probably still buy from again, but good to be aware of the downsides. |
