They build about 50 a month of copies of martin, gibson and lowden guitars and gear they are great sounding guitars. The prices are not bad at all. Has anyone played some of the martin copies?

I'm moderator of the Hsienmo owners group on Reddit (no connection to the company).  They are having a bit of a viral moment thanks to reviews by noted guitarists JP Cormier and Shawn Brock.

They are amazingly well-crafted guitars.  It's a bit unfair to say they are Martin/Gibson/Lowden copies, more like "inspired", since there are a lot of differences.  For example, they have cantilevered, carbon fiber-reinforced bolt-on necks & floating fingerboards (actually 2 different types).  The company does a lot of recordings on YouTube that are well done (although the sound in Shawn Brock's videos is even better, not surprisingly given his producer background).

These guitars seem impressive. J P Cormier is a musician and guitar lover I've always respected and I was very impressed with the Rosewood 000 reviewed on his blog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FG4cauVtm-A (referrenced in the post above).

I also didn't know anything about this brand but get very curious indeed... Looking at Hsienmo's videos and pics on Youtube and Facebook, I must say that I'm fairly impress. It looks to me like a very promising brand trying to make his path to a larger audience. It reminds me a lot to Eastman some years ago. If you tried to convince anyone that there is a chinese brand able to compite with the traditional american brands at a much lower price, they would laugh to you. But now Eastman is a well established and respected brand. I'm very tempted to get a try at Hsienmo guitars. I miss an all-mahogany guitar in my little collection and Eastman currently doesn't have any. Hsienmo guitars has a big advantage over Eastman in the fact that it has Custom shop service. They make traditional guitars copies as well as Lowden and even McPherson!
