Hi, I'm new here (and relatively new to playing guitar). I've become a big fan of Eastman guitars. It all started with a SB59/v a few years ago and has only grown since. I've had an E10OOS/V and an AC622CE (both beautiful guitars), but have currently settled in with a AC722CE as well as a T484. I'm amazed at the quality and value these guitars provide.
Have been looking to add a E20OM or E40OM (TC perhaps?) to the family. There is plenty of info on this forum for those models, so I would like to thank you all for your input. It's very informative and really helps. Thanks guys. I look forward to contributing in the future.

Welcome to the club PrimordialOne. You certainly have some decent guitars and the addition of a pure acoustic - E20OM or E40OM - makes a lot of sense. And can I ask what finish your AC722CE has? Do hang around and join in the banter.

Hey everyone. Long time lurker, but new "poster". Received my TAS-58957 last week, verdict is still out but so far I am impressed.

Alan, it has the natural finish. I had an AC622CE and it was the most visually stunning guitar I have ever owned. The flamed maple was unreal. I really like the sound port on these models. You can definitely hear the difference.
I don't really need the extra "bling" of a E40OM, but I do like the idea of a potentially higher grade top/back/sides. However, I might just settle on a E20OM-MRTC and happily play it for the rest of my days.

Howdy everybody!! I currently reside in the great state of Texas in the unruly beast that is Houston and I'm looking forward to interacting with everybody.
I discovered Eastman ~15 years ago on the old Ed Roman site. I'd always wanted an ES335 but could never justify the price. A bit of research indicated that the Eastmans were incredibly well made instruments and after a few months of shopping around I landed a used T186MX LTD in mint shape. The previous owner had swapped out the factory pickups for a pair of Seth Lovers and that was fine by me! I've travelled all over the country with it since then and it remains my #2 all these years later.
My T186MX LTD is my favorite, by far. I lust after the El Rays and have hovered over the 'Buy' button on Reverb a number of times. I'm sure one of these days I'll click it. :-)
My music interests are all over the place. I've been playing guitar for nearly half a century but I love music of (nearly) all genres and even got heavily into producing and recording ambient cinematic electronic music recently.
So, that's me in a musical nutshell. See ya'll in the threads!
