I like Walnut, and it's a sustainable wood.  Glad to see Eastman offering this model.

Okay, yep. This is my next Eastman. I've loved the tone of every walnut guitar I've played. Which isn't a ton of them, but I'm glad the rumor is true! Now time to convince my wife why I need this which includes, but is not limited to:

1. I don't have a SS model
2. I don't have an SB model
3. I don't have a Walnut model

Wow that's some nice looking wood. Does it matter that it doesn't appear quarter sawn or is that not important with walnut? Any bets on the nut size?

Given the line and the inlays on the neck I'b bet exactly what comes on the E20/v series (which seems to be over 1.75" right now).

Over 1.75"?  Do you mean under?  I think the SS models are still all 1-11/16" (sad panda).
